Last weekend we had the boardway slider session. Unfortunately we were not that lucky with wind. So we had to focus more on the party. Red Bull came with their party car and with a lot of Red Bull I had a blast being the DJ on the party car. Since David Sonnabend already came on Friday we cld shoot some bloody nice pictures at night. I am really happy about the pictures. Have a look at the gallery to have a glance at some of them. Here is the little clip of Safety Bay. That was the last day with kiting in Australia. So not very elaborated. Nevertheless a short impression of 10min kiting. Here in Germany it is so freezing. So we used the time to clean the boardway and work and built a bit to make it an even more beautiful place. The new website is online now as well. Really nice. I was lucky the other day to get some new pictures again. The photographer is Paul Smyth. Thanks for taking the pictures. This time we went to Point Walter as the wind started coming from the east now. It seems that the windy season is over now. It is cloudy more often now and the wind keeps coming from the east. Hopefully the swell picks up a bit. Another Kitelife issue will be published during the next days with some nice stuff in it like travel story to Kenya and Ireland plus an interview with Xavier Rudd. Denmark was so sweet. We had awesome waves and pretty strong winds. However, I was so keen on ripping the waves with my shortboard that I barely took my kite gear out of the boot. Anyways, the most important bit was to hang around in a spa bath and sauna. So after the freezing North Sea we could relax super well. We drove back a day earlier to be back in time for the Boardway Testival two weeks ago. We had super sweet winds and a real good party. Apart from that we did a little race. I came in third. So much fun.. Last weekend David Sonnabend took some pictures again. It’s so good to shoot with him. You really don’t have to focus on what u do, he captures it so well. You’ll find the pics in the gallery. Next weekend we’ll have a wedding again. So I hope that’ll be a good party as well. It must be good cos the party will be at the beach. I’ve been back to Germany for more than two weeks now. At first the weather was just awesome. Sunny, windy and really good conditions. Since then it’s become colder everyday. Last weekend we had a windchill of -2°C and everything was freezing again. Nevertheless, we prepaired the kiteschool Boardway for the upcoming season and had a succesful Boardway Open last weekend.
