Jeremie Eloy: Cleaning the beach with Surfrider Fondation.

The KUD and Surfrider Foundation Europe (SFE) organize Wednesday, March 17, 2010 a beach cleaning operation on the beach Leffrinckoucke terminus. This will run from 1:30pm to 5:30pm with two highlights.

The very first time, from 1:30pm to 3:30pm, will of course cleaning the beach of Leffrinckoucke.

And the second highlight, from 3:30pm to 5:30pm will be a funny afternoon organized by KUD, Jeremie ELOY (partner of the Ocean Initiatives), and local shop with various workshops.

Introduction of kite-flying, kite surfing, stand up paddleboard, the local sport "longe cote"  and demo from pro riders. The workshops will be more or less modified according to the weather.   This afternoon will be mainly an environmental awareness to Youth Dunkirk practices and responsible citizens. In this regard Surfrider Fondation Europe offers to all interested teachers to provide teaching kits to work. Upstream of the day with students. Emphasis will also be focused on the aspect playful and friendly to this day, through the opportunity to discover or learn about activities of water and land slips in various workshops.

This initiative is open to all children, adults, school and non - school.   Do not forget to come with a pair of gloves for cleaning. Take gloves dishes, or old work gloves.   Remember to register on the website of Ocean Initiatives or Facebook page.
