Gisela Pulido: Custo Barcelona Party
on 2009/07/22
Hi all.
When the competition in Tarifa ended up, I went to Barcelona to finish the rehab of my knee.
On Wednesday there was a party organized by Custo Barcelona at the Gardens of Juan Carlos I hotel. It was amazing. First I went to look for a dress in the Custo shop, then when returned to the hotel to get ready I met my friend Edurne. We both went to be combed in one of the hotel room. Was great!
Firstly in the party was a cocktail and then it was the parade of the new season’s clothing of Custo. Was awesome because we were at the front. It was my first parade and I really like it. When the party started, with good music, was full with people. I went to sleep early because I was tired and I had pain in my knee, but the time I was there I had good fun. Here I leave a photo with Edurne and Custo.
On Thursday I went to rehab at Camp Nou, and they told me that I had to do a MRI, because as I hurt my knee again in Tarifa and I had pain they wanted to be sure that there wasn’t other injuries. On Monday I visited the doctor Andolz, and he told me that it could not compete in Fuerteventura, which is the next stage of the World Cup, because I have the distension of the internal lateral ligament and the cartilage of the kneecap pretty swollen. If I compete in Fuerteventura, with strong wind conditions, besides that I’m not at 100% I take a lot of risk of relapse in the injury. So we decided that it is better to stop the competition for 3 weeks and recover.
Still I go to Fuerteventura, because Pájara City Council has invited. I will have a relaxing and enjoying holidays watching the event from the other side. I’m a bit sad I can’t compete, but I’m very motivated, I want to recover as soon as possible and go for it!! I will tell a little about the competition. For now on they just ran part of the simple elimination with extreme and hard conditions, more than 40 knots. Incredible!
Kiss
