Alex Pastor: 3rd in the singles, 4th after the doubles…

The main event is over already. We finished the singles and the doubles at the same day.
Singles:In the third round I had to ride against Sebastian Garat. I advanced trough this heat and came up to the semifinal against Aaron.
I lost against him so I went to the losers final for the 3rd place. The wind came up and sometimes it was like 50 knots, but I was able to manage some tricks for winning.
After getting the 3rd place in the singles I had to wait like 4 hours to go against Kevin, who went up from the doubles and sent me to the 4th place.
Honestly I had a really good heat and landed most of my tricks with my kite pretty low. Although Kevin’s kite was so high in most of his tricks, 3 out of 5 judges decided to not follow the rules and hand him over the victory, as all the riders said. For me that was the most unfair decision I’ve ever seen on the PKRA… but there’s nothing I can do about it, just wait until some judges realise that having your kite low is harder than high and don’t get influenced by the name of the rider…
